The Canary Islands Music Festival 2017 concerts doubles and increases its range in styles and spaces

The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Canary Government held the 33rd International Music Festival of the Canary Islands from January 7 to February 5 in the eight islands of the archipelago, in an edition in which new challenges are faced and, on all, stands out for its far-reaching, both in number of concerts and spaces that arrives as scheduled styles and musical periods. The thirty-third edition of what is considered the most important musical event of the Canary Islands because of its dimension, and presented today in Santa Cruz de Tenerife by the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports, Mariate Lorenzo, and the coordinator of the Festival, Nino Diaz , it is marked by a change of program model characterized by a greater variety and a wide repertoire, chamber and symphonic, which covers all genres and eras (from the sixteenth century to the present).
