The social return is a fundamental concept in cultural policies. However, we don't know yet what it is and what objective parameters are used to value. Or put another way, you need to be more visible passing theoretical academic environment to practice. Next week the Sónar will present the advancement of a study launched last year the goal is precisely to "study the social return and use of the festival". "We were realizing that the economic impact studies provide little information on the cultural, social and innovation return. This is search parameters to identify this return. We have indicators, but it is early to define the frame of reference," explains one of Sónar directors, Ricard Robles. (Source:Ara.cat)
